Looking back at some past renditions of Reba’s anthem performances and she’s been a historically quick singer over her 50-year history of singing the anthem. She first sung the anthem at 18 years old, and is now 68.
Her first time was at the 1974 National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma and she came in at 72 seconds. She performed the anthem for the rodeo several times over the next ten years and had other performances come in at 77 and 80 seconds.

48 | Renee Fleming | 143.5 | 2:03 | Under |
If you’re betting the Under on Reba’s total, it’s worth noting that in the past 33 performances of the anthem at the Super Bowl, only five singers have not at least hit the 95 second mark. At 90.5 seconds, we’re looking at a minute and a half for Reba this year.
While several singers fell under that number in earlier Super Bowl years, if we look at those same previous 33 years since Super Bowl 24, only Jewel came in under that time at 1:27 in Super Bowl 32. While Billy Joel fell right on 1:30 in Super Bowl 41.
If Reba comes in Under 90.5 seconds, she’ll be breaking a trend that has seen anthem times rise in recent years. Two of the past three performers have gone over two minutes, with the other coming in at 1:55. Meanwhile, in the past ten years, seven performers have gone over two minutes.

Super Bowl 58 National Anthem Best Bet
Given the history of Reba’s past national anthems, a total coming in Under 90.5 seconds looks likely, with her opting for a quick and classic performance, without dragging out each note.
If you’re betting the Over on the Super Bowl National Anthem line, you’re simply hoping she defies her history and purposely drags this one out a bit longer. But that would go against her 50-year history of anthem-singing.
Anthem Length Pick: Under 90.5 seconds (-140)
