On Saturday 10 July, the two fighters meet again for what will be their trilogy battle. Speaking to Tristar Gym’s YouTube channel ahead of the fight, Canadian-born fighter Georges St.Pierre said that he expects the popular Irishman to prevail.
“I think McGregor is very good in rematches – and I think he’s going to have the victory. I think he’s probably going to win in the second round by knockout.”
St.Pierre’s coach, Firas Zahabi, was struggling to pick a winner, but has a reason for going for Poirier.
