Leonard Fournette
After a quick visit to the New England Patriots, Fournette decided to stay with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers until 2024. The LSU product is fresh from leading the way for the Bucs in yards (812) and rushing touchdowns (eight).
Za’Darius Smith
The Smith saga has come to an end. After a deal with the Baltimore Ravens fell through, the linebacker returns to NFC North, joining the Minnesota Vikings. The two-time Pro Bowler has agreed a three-year, $42m deal.
Christian McCaffrey
This one isn’t actually a new contract. Rather, the terms of running back McCaffrey’s present deal with the Panthers have been modified, allowing Carolina to free up $5.5m of salary space.
Cordarrelle Patterson
Patterson was one of the major surprise packages at the Falcons in 2021, finishing up as Atlanta’s most productive running back (618 yards, six touchdowns). The wide receiver-turned-RB has been rewarded with a two-year, $10.5m contract.

Demarcus Robinson
The Las Vegas Raiders are loading Derek Carr up with targets to aim at. After the signing of Green Bay Packers star Davante Adams, the Raiders have now also added Robinson, who joins from divisional rivals the Kansas City Chiefs.
Will Gholston
Tom Brady’s return to the Buccaneers continues to boost the business being done at Raymond James Stadium. As well as Fournette, Tampa Bay have also managed to keep hold of Gholston, who registered a personal-best 4.5 sacks in 2021.
